One of the easiest ways to purify the body is to drink a glass of water with a slice of lemon in it, first thing in the morning. According to Prescription for Nutritional Healing, this is an excellent way to detox and get a little extra water into your diet. We agree.

Try adding lemon slices to a jug of water and sip it through-out the day. Organic lemons taste great and have many hidden health benefits including detoxing the liver, boosting the immune system, and fighting cancer. For optimum hydration benefits, drink water at room temperature and enjoy.

We love lentils! Did you know lentils are a powerful brain food that may help prevent Alzheimer’s Disease?

Not only are lentils yummy and packed full of dietary fiber, but lentils are full of Foliate.

A preliminary study shows that Foliate (Folic Acid or Vitamin B9, used by the body to produce energy, red blood & white blood cells) helps prevent Alzheimer. Furthermore, an American medical study shows that as the levels of foliate decreases, the risk of Alzheimer increases. This may be due to the fact that Foliate combined with B12 help reduce an amino acid called Homocysteine. High levels of Homocysteine are associated with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Let the lentil love begin!
